United Offshore Support GmbH is one of the main Global Players in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry with 13 Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels operating worldwide. A team of international professionals runs the fleet from its Head Quarters in Leer, Germany, divided into a Shipmanagement, Commercial, Financial and HR department.

To support our Shipmanagement-Department, UOS is currently looking for a

                                  Contracts Advisor/Administrator (f/m/d)

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensures business risk and commercial risk is identified, highlighted and mitigated to an acceptable level
  • Provides support and guidance on all contractual and commercial matters within the ship management department
  • Supports the strategic development of the business through provision of commercial and contractual advice and guidance
  • Sub-contract management and ensures the business is receiving value and service from the supply chain
  • Focal point for all insurance related issues within the business and ongoing management of existing policies as well as any claims
  • Develops and maintains suitable and sufficient commercial and contractual processes and procedures to support the business activities

Qualification:

  • Degree in Law, Business or Quantity Surveying qualification or relevant experience
  • Previous work experience as a Contracts Engineer within the Ship Management or Oil & Gas Industries
  • Considerable contractual knowledge and analytical skills
  • Relevant experience of qualification of contract and commercial documentation, negotiating, cost forecasting and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills
  • Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a team
  • Proactive and forward looking approach
  • Experience of project execution is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English is required and in German preferred
